Culture Mile BID seeks Business Manager in City of London

The Culture Mile Business Improvement District (BID) is recruiting a Business Manager to join its team in the heart of central London. The role is advertised on the organisation's own website, with a salary of up to £50,000 a year depending on experience, and a closing date of Monday 16 November 2026.
What the role covers
According to the vacancy notice, the Business Manager will play a central part in the effective running of the organisation. That includes overseeing business operations, governance, reporting, budget management and organisational planning, while also supporting external affairs and key strategic projects. The BID is working towards its renewal ballot in autumn 2027, and the new manager will help prepare for that vote and shape the district's future direction.
Who the BID is looking for
Applicants should have experience in business management, operations, programme management or governance, together with strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills. The notice also asks for experience managing budgets, suppliers and multiple stakeholder relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations. A proactive approach, close attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities are listed as essential.
How to apply
Candidates should send a CV and a covering letter to recruitment@culturemilebid.co.uk before the 16 November 2026 deadline. The full recruitment pack, including the person specification and responsibilities, is linked from the official Culture Mile BID vacancy page. Informal conversations are offered with Dr Julie Grail. Applicants should check the pack before applying, as it carries the full details of the post.
