Haringey Council seeks care hub manager, £50,676+

Haringey Council is recruiting an Operational Team Manager for its Ermine Community Hub, a permanent, full-time post supporting adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities. The role is based at the Ermine Road Day Centre, carries a starting salary of £50,676 to £53,919, and is advertised on the council's own jobs site with a closing date of Sunday 1 November 2026 at 11.59pm.
The role
The manager will run the day-to-day operation of the service, leading and developing the staff team and working with families, health professionals and partners to deliver person-centred support. Responsibilities include staffing, operational planning, health and safety, building management and budget control, with the council describing the hub as a centre of excellence.
Deadline warning
The post is 36 hours a week, and the council says interviews are expected in the week beginning 6 November 2026. Haringey describes itself as a borough celebrating creativity and community, and says staff are expected to reflect values of caring, creativity, courage, collaboration and community focus. Applicants should read the full job description and person specification on the official listing before applying, and apply only through the council's jobs site.
The deadline is tight: applications close at 11.59pm on Sunday 1 November, so anyone interested should not delay. The council also reserves the right to close the advert early if it receives sufficient applications, so applicants should not rely on the final day. The listing is on the council's own jobs site, and applications go through that listing only. Jobseekers should never pay to apply for a council post.
