Indian airlines have extended suspensions of flights to Saudi Arabia into November. Air India and Air India Express have extended the suspension of flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam until 7 November 2026, while services to and from Jeddah will remain suspended until 31 October 2026, the airlines said in a joint advisory posted on X. Passengers holding confirmed bookings issued on or before 24 October are eligible for flexible rebooking or a full refund on cancellation.

What passengers are being offered

Air India passengers originally scheduled to travel to or from Riyadh and Dammam until 7 November may take a one-time complimentary rebooking to or from any operational Air India station in Saudi Arabia, subject to availability, for travel until 21 November. Those booked on Jeddah services until 31 October may similarly rebook for travel until 14 November. Air India Express offers the same one-time rebooking via its operational stations in Saudi Arabia or Bahrain, for travel until 21 November.

IndiGo and Akasa Air

IndiGo said on Saturday that after a careful assessment, flights to and from Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah will also remain cancelled until 31 October, having earlier announced Riyadh cancellations until 31 October as well. The airline said the decision followed a careful assessment of the evolving security situation, with passenger and crew safety its priority. Akasa Air has extended its Riyadh suspension until 30 November and its Jeddah suspension until 10 November, according to PTI reporting.

The extensions show how a security problem at a small number of airports keeps rippling across schedules weeks after cancellations that originally ran only until 24 October. Passengers should check flight status before travelling, as dates may change again.
