(Karachi investigates case of 3-year-old Girl )

Karachi's (IGP) Javed Alam Odho started a major investigation after a 3 -year- old girl was raped and murdered in Quaidabad Karachi .So the police started taking DNA samples from several suspects in the same area to find a match.

On Tuesday June 23. A 3-year-old Girl kulsoom Muhammad Qasim left her home around 8:00 p.m. to play in Muslim abad colony but later that night her dead body was found near her house at 9:45 p.m. She was inside a gunny bag. Doctors said that she was raped before she was killed.

According to ( SSP ) investigation malir Majeda parveen helepota. A special team has been confirmed for this case to investigate fairly. He told newspapers that DNA samples were sent to Karachi University KU lab for testing. So right now they are just waiting for the report to find a match .

A police surgeon Dr.summaya Syed, said her team took DNA samples from 12 suspects in the same area. Some of them were the close relatives of the victim.

Right now they are focusing on three suspect. These three are close relatives of the girl. The officer said he will arrest them soon and question them. The whole case depends on the DNA report from Karachi University KU lab. The police are waiting for those results. The officers are sure about one thing the suspects are not outsiders. They are from the same area.

The victim's father filed a compliant at Quaidabad police station .In this statement he named some people.police don't know yet. Several sections have been added to this case , like 302, 201, 376, 377, 363, and 34.

On Wednesday, Dr.Syed said this was one of the most horrific cases in her whole career. She said that some child abuse cases are bad ,but some are worse than others. She said this case was one of the worst. It was really disturbing to see what happened to her, IGP Odho also ordered a special team to investigate this case properly.

The police officers said that who ever did this terrible crime does not deserve any mercy . Earlier this week, Sargodha police arrested 4 suspects in the murder case of a 7 -Year -old girl. Her body was found in a shop. The main suspect was accused of raping then killing her. A day after the arrest, the main suspect was killed. police said it happened in an encounter with the CCD.

Gender- based violence in Pakistan has increased a lot in 2026. Reporters say rape and murder cases went up by about 25 percent compared to last year.

Every day in Pakistan many children like kulsoom face different kinds of abuse and violence . Every child deserves to feel safe. As a society, we need to talk about these cases more. We have to stand up and protest because every child deserves protection and justice.

The Pakistan government should understand that these are not normal cases. There should be fast court hearings and strict punishments.
