Sharks stun Munster 15-3 to complete unbeaten tour

The Hollywoodbets Sharks beat Munster 15-3 at Thomond Park in Limerick on Saturday evening, completing a three-match European tour unbeaten and climbing into the top four of the United Rugby Championship. The Durban side shut Munster out after half-time in a rain-soaked contest dominated by defence and the set piece.
Lombard opens the scoring
Gianni Lombard scored the opening try in the 14th minute, chasing a kick ahead from man of the match Zekhethelo Siyaya after the Sharks had absorbed almost 10 minutes of early Munster pressure. Munster finally got on the board late in the first half with a penalty, but that 5-3 scoreline at the break would prove to be their only score of the match.
Scrum power settles it
A scrum that demolished the Munster pack handed the Sharks the first scoring chance of the second half, and Lombard kicked a penalty 13 minutes in to restore a five-point lead. Ivan van Zyl then dived over after Nick Hatton's break from a stolen lineout, and the conversion made it 15-3. The win, on Ethan Hooker's 50th cap, leaves the Sharks fourth on 19 points as the competition pauses for the Nations Championship.
