UAE fuel prices fall for November across all grades

Motorists across the United Arab Emirates will pay less at filling stations from Sunday 1 November 2026, after the Fuel Price Committee announced price cuts across all grades of petrol and diesel compared with October. Super 98 petrol falls to Dh4.16 per litre, down from Dh4.40 in October, while Special 95, the most widely used grade among private motorists, falls to Dh4.04 from Dh4.28.
E-Plus 91 petrol drops to Dh3.97 per litre, falling below the four-dirham threshold from October's Dh4.21, and diesel falls by 5 fils to Dh4.75 per litre from Dh4.80. Petrol grades therefore fall by 24 fils per litre across the board, while diesel sees the smaller 5-fils reduction. The revised rates apply at all petrol stations across the country throughout November.
How UAE fuel prices are set
The UAE deregulated its domestic fuel market in 2015, linking consumer prices directly to global crude benchmarks and local distributor operating costs. The Fuel Price Committee meets towards the end of each calendar month to align local retail prices with prevailing international averages, so monthly changes reflect the previous month's market rather than a government subsidy decision.
The November fall is the first domestic fuel price decline in four months, breaking three consecutive cycles of rising pump costs, according to follow-up reporting. It arrives as a surprise to some observers after steep climbs in international crude benchmarks during October, a reminder that the monthly formula looks back at averages over time rather than tracking a single week's spike.
