Prague Game Studio Hit by Cyberattack

Warhorse Studios confirmed on 27 October 2026 that it had been the target of a cyberattack involving unauthorised access to company systems and company data. The Prague-based studio behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance said it is working with cybersecurity experts and relevant authorities and is assessing the full extent of the breach.
Studio confirms unauthorised access
Chief executive Martin Frývaldský called it a serious incident for Warhorse Studios and everyone affected, and said the immediate priority is to secure systems, establish the full extent of the breach, and protect employees, partners and community.
Scope still unclear
The studio said it will not conduct interviews or provide additional comments at this stage, and will share further verified information when it becomes available. It has not specified whether user or player data was part of the hack, what kind of attack it was, or when the intrusion took place, and no leaks linked to Warhorse had emerged at publication.
Warhorse is developing two unrevealed games: a new Kingdom Come title and an open-world Middle-earth, Lord of the Rings role-playing game. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was released on 4 February 2025 and had sold over 4 million copies by the end of that year.
