West Hull lifted the BARLA National Cup with a 44-16 win over Ince Rose Bridge in the final game of the 2026 domestic season. The Hull side made a lightning start, scoring three tries inside the first quarter to lead 24-0 before Ince Rose Bridge found their footing.

Wilkinson's five-try haul

Eligh Wilkinson finished a smart move in the corner after three minutes, and Josh Oliver forced his way over four minutes later. Elliot Jones and Oscar Ellerington added further tries as West Hull raced into a 24-0 lead. Callum Hughes crossed for Ince Rose Bridge after 26 minutes, and the sides went in at half-time with West Hull 24-6 ahead.

Second-half surge seals the cup

Hughes scored again early in the second half, but Wilkinson completed his hat-trick from a kick and Oliver added his second under the posts to restore control at 36-10. Mason Fillingham scored for Ince Rose Bridge on the hour, before Wilkinson added two more tries, the last a weaving run past three defenders in the 73rd minute, to complete a five-try haul and the man-of-the-match award. Ince Rose Bridge ended a fine season as NCRL National Leagues Cross Conference champions.
