Arup Apprenticeships Open Across 18 UK Locations for September 2027

Engineering and design firm Arup has opened applications for its UK apprenticeships, with roles starting in September 2027.
The firm recruits apprentices each year across its UK offices, in 18 locations, and says applications opened in November 2026. Roles are reviewed on a rolling basis and may close as soon as they are filled, so early applications are advised.
What the apprenticeships offer
Arup's apprenticeships run from Level 2 through to Level 7 degree apprenticeships, typically lasting three to six years. Disciplines include civil and structural engineering, building services, rail, project management and information management, with apprentices working towards professional and academic qualifications.
Apprentices work on live projects while studying with a partner college or university, and attend a welcome event alongside their peers when they start in September. The firm says the programmes are designed to build technical skills and qualifications through a mix of on-the-job and off-the-job training.
Who can apply
Applicants must be at least 16, have full working rights in the UK, and have lived in the UK for at least three years before the apprenticeship starts, or otherwise meet apprenticeship funding eligibility rules. Most roles require at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, with some degree apprenticeships asking for A-level grades including maths and a science subject.
How to apply
Candidates apply online through Arup's careers site, completing a job-specific application for the role they want. Arup notes that candidates may submit only one application per recruitment cycle, and that it cannot offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for these roles.
