BBC apprenticeship applications for September 2027 open on Tuesday 3 November 2026, the BBC announced on 16 October. This is a preview: applications are not open yet at the time of publication, and no closing date has been found in the sources, so none is stated here. Applicants must be at least 18 by September 2027, and no CV or cover letter is needed to apply.

Schemes run from Level 2 to Level 6 and cover business, digital technology and data, engineering, journalism and production. The BBC says it hires about 200 apprentices a year. Eligibility details on scheme pages include being 18 or older by September 2027, having lived in the UK continuously for the last three years, and being legally eligible to work full-time in the UK. Individual scheme pages currently show as closed for the previous round, so applicants should check the live adverts on the BBC jobs search from 3 November.

How to apply

Applications open on the BBC's early careers pages on 3 November, with a BBC webinar also pointing applicants to the same pages. Salary ranges differ between sources, so no salary figure is stated here; applicants should check the figure on the individual scheme advert when it goes live. Every job post on this site links to the official application source, and this preview links to the BBC's own early careers pages.
