Bentley Offers 93 Early Career Roles for 2027 in Crewe

Bentley Motors is creating more than 90 early career opportunities for 2027 at its headquarters in Crewe, as the luxury carmaker builds the skills needed for an expanding product range. The 2027 programme will offer 93 places, made up of 29 apprenticeships, 15 graduate roles and 49 industrial placements.
The opportunities cover research and development, manufacturing, information technology, and sales and marketing. Bentley said the mix reflected the changing expertise required as its products, technologies and operations evolve, following the reveal of Torcal, the company’s first fully electric model and its fourth model line.
The announcement was made on 12 October 2026, alongside the launch of a new Bentley careers website. The company said the website used colleague stories and career journeys to show prospective applicants the people, culture and opportunities within the business.
Dr Karen Lange, Bentley’s member of the board for people and culture, said: “The next era of Bentley will be defined as much by our people as by our products and technologies. As Torcal expands our product portfolio and begins a new chapter for Bentley, we need to continue developing the skills and expertise to support that growth.” She added that the early careers programme brought fresh perspectives into the business and gave young talent the opportunity to grow throughout their time with Bentley.
The three routes work in different ways. The apprenticeship schemes combine paid work with qualifications up to degree level. The graduate programme runs for two years and is designed to accelerate professional development through hands-on experience. Industrial placements give university students 12 months of practical experience alongside industry professionals in an area relevant to their studies.
Bentley said successful candidates were encouraged to contribute and make a difference from day one, while gaining meaningful experience and developing their careers within teams across the business. Rebecca Scott-Davies, a current graduate who began her career with Bentley through an industrial placement, said she had enjoyed being encouraged to contribute from day one and to challenge herself in different roles.
The timing matters for applicants. Industrial placement applications for the 2027 programme opened on 12 October 2026 and closed on 23 October 2026, so that window has now passed. Graduate applications also opened on 12 October 2026. Apprenticeship opportunities follow in February 2027, so anyone interested in that route should watch for the February opening rather than applying now.
The early careers drive is part of a wider change at Bentley. The company said the investment came as it advanced its Beyond100+ strategy and as the £350 million transformation of its Crewe headquarters neared completion. Bentley describes its apprenticeships, graduate programmes and industrial placements as widely recognised, and says its early careers programmes have run for more than 40 years.
Bentley employs more than 4,000 colleagues at its Crewe site, and its careers page lists early careers alongside product development, manufacturing, organisation and brand roles. Applications are made only through the Bentley careers website, where candidates can search current opportunities, join the talent community and sign up for job alerts.
For young people weighing their options, the programme offers three distinct entry points: a paid apprenticeship with a qualification, a two-year graduate route, or a year-long placement during university. Each is based in Crewe, and each is tied to the company’s shift towards electric vehicles and new technology. Applicants should check the live adverts on Bentley’s careers website for the current status of each route, as closing dates can change and some routes may close early once places are filled.
