BFRS Catterick Careers Fair Brings 70-Plus Employers to Armed Forces Community on 26 November

More than 70 employers will meet members of the Armed Forces community at the BFRS National Careers Fair in Catterick on Thursday 26 November 2026, offering jobs, training and career advice to service leavers, veterans and their families.

The free event runs from 9.30am to 1pm at Catterick Leisure Centre, Gough Road, Catterick Garrison. It is open to serving personnel, reservists, veterans, civilian Ministry of Defence employees, partners and families, with registration free.

Who will be there

Exhibitors at BFRS events are companies that have signed the Armed Forces Covenant or support the Armed Forces community. The Civil Nuclear Constabulary, which works with the Career Transition Partnership and British Forces Resettlement Services, will be exhibiting at Catterick to talk to service leavers about policing careers.

The fair covers a wide range of sectors, with employers offering live vacancies as well as information on training, qualifications and the Enhanced Learning Credits scheme, which helps service personnel fund further education.

Why the fair matters

British Forces Resettlement Services, founded in 2009, acts as a bridge between the Armed Forces community and employers, helping service leavers, veterans and their families move into civilian work. Its fairs are held across the country and are designed to connect forward-thinking companies with people leaving the forces.

The Catterick fair follows BFRS events in other garrison towns this year, including Tidworth in September. Anyone planning to attend can register in advance through the BFRS website, where the full exhibitor list and event details are published.
