The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has opened applications for 197 posts across its headquarters in Islamabad and its Balochistan region, with the closing date set for 12 November 2026. The vacancies, advertised under reference PID(I)3947/26, are open only to candidates holding a Balochistan domicile, and applications are submitted online through the National Job Portal.

What posts are open

The 197 posts span grades SPS-01 to SPS-15 and cover clerical, accounts, driving and support roles, including Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Lower Division Clerk, Driver, Naib Qasid, Chowkidar and Sweeper. Of the total, 189 posts are in BISP's Balochistan region and eight are at the programme's headquarters in Islamabad, although the headquarters posts also require a Balochistan domicile.

How selection works

Selection is by walk-in interview at district level, with no written or entry test. BISP says registration and applications on the National Job Portal are free, and the programme will never ask applicants for money — a warning worth heeding, because scams using the BISP name are common. Candidates should check the qualification, age and experience conditions for their chosen post on the portal before applying.

How to apply

Applications are made online only, through the National Job Portal at njp.gov.pk, and must be submitted by 12 November 2026. Candidates need a valid Balochistan local or domicile certificate, and applicants already in government service must apply through the proper channel. BISP is the federal government's flagship social protection programme, supporting low-income families across Pakistan, and the new recruits will staff its offices in Balochistan and the capital.
