Commanders beat Eagles 27-10 after 27 unanswered points

The Washington Commanders beat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 on Sunday Night Football on 1 November 2026, scoring 27 unanswered points after falling 10-0 behind in the first quarter. The win, at Northwest Stadium in Landover, was Washington's first since Week 3 and handed Philadelphia a sixth straight defeat.
Philadelphia started strongly, with Jake Elliott kicking a 40-yard field goal and Saquon Barkley scoring on a short touchdown run. Washington replied through Jayden Daniels, whose eight-yard touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs capped an 11-play, 89-yard drive and tied the scores.
How Washington took control
Daniels finished 16 of 29 for 217 yards and a touchdown, adding 23 yards on two carries, after a shaky start in which he missed open receivers and Washington were hit by pre-snap penalties. Drew Stevens kicked four field goals, including one from 25 yards in the third quarter, to make it 16-10.
Stevens added a 42-yard field goal late in the game, before Rachaad White scored on a short run late in the game and Austin Ekeler added a two-point conversion run to complete the 27-10 scoreline. McKee, making his first career road start, finished 23 of 34 for 212 yards and one interception.
What it means for the NFC East
The result moves Washington to 2-4-1 and keeps them in touch in the NFC East, two games behind the idle New York Giants. Philadelphia fall to 2-6, bottom of the division, in their longest losing run since 2012, and face the Giants next in another pivotal divisional game.
Washington host the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday.
