The Finance Division (Main) has announced seven regular posts in Islamabad for candidates holding a Balochistan domicile, under the Balochistan quota. The vacancies are five Stenotypists in BS-14 and two Drivers in BS-04, advertised under reference PID(I)3914/26. The advertisement was published on 30 October 2026, and applications are online only through the National Job Portal. The closing date shown on the portal listing is 12 November 2026.

What the posts require

Stenotypist applicants need an Intermediate qualification, a minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute, and computer literacy will be given preference. The age limit for the posts is 18 to 35 years. Candidates from the 12 districts of Southern Balochistan will be given preference, and the Finance Division reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.

How to apply

Interested candidates must apply online at njp.gov.pk within 15 days of the advertisement's publication. Shortlisted candidates will be called for walk-in interviews, with dates and venue to be communicated later, and original documents will be mandatory at the interview. Serving government employees must apply through the proper channel. No travelling or daily allowance will be paid for the test or interview.
