The Ministry of Energy is filling 31 posts through its Petroleum Division and the Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB), with the earliest deadline falling on 12 November 2026.

The Petroleum Division's Policy Wing is hiring one stenotypist at BPS-14 for its Islamabad office. Applications for that post must be submitted online through the National Job Portal by 12 November 2026.

The remaining 30 posts are with PPIB's Project Management Unit, which is implementing a public-sector project to build 100 MWp distributed solar photovoltaic plants at sites across Gilgit-Baltistan. The posts are resident engineers, contracts expert, manager administration, assistant resident engineers, accountant and cashier, sub-engineers, driver, office boy, chowkidar and helper.

Appointments are on contract for an initial two years under project pay scales, and the place of duty will be Gilgit-Baltistan or another location required for project implementation. Applicants should consult the terms of reference on the PPIB website for the qualifications, experience and eligibility conditions for each post.

Applications for the PPIB posts must reach the board within 15 days of the advertisement's publication, by post, by email to careers@ppib.gov.pk, or online through the National Job Portal. The board's website is ppib.gov.pk and the portal is njp.gov.pk. The stenotypist post is the only one of the 31 based in Islamabad, while the PPIB posts are project-based in Gilgit-Baltistan.
