** The Ministry of Human Rights has invited applications for one Policy Analyst post in Islamabad on the MP-II management pay scale, on an initial three-year contract. Who can apply Applicants need either a PhD in International Relations or Public Policy and Governance with at least five years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of those fields with at least seven years of experience. The maximum age is 62 years. Candidates also need excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and familiarity with research tools such as NVivo, SPSS, MAXQDA and Jamovi.

What the job involves The Policy Analyst will research human rights conditions across Pakistan, analyse findings and prepare evidence-based recommendations for government decision-making. The work covers reviewing human rights laws affecting women, children, transgender persons, minorities and people with disabilities, monitoring the National Action Plan on Human Rights, and analysing Pakistan's international human rights commitments and treaty body recommendations.
