Motorola has unveiled the Signature 27, the most ambitious and most expensive flagship the company has ever built, priced at $1,599. The phone was officially launched on 5 November 2026, with sales starting on 16 November across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and on 26 November in the United States, where preorders open on 19 November.

The headline feature is the camera system. A 200MP periscope telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom and up to 100x AI-assisted Super Zoom, sitting alongside a 50MP main camera using Sony's LYTIA L910 sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. A dedicated action sensor is designed to capture fast-moving subjects, and the front camera is 50MP. According to GizmoChina, the system carries a DXOMARK Gold Label with an overall camera score of 173, which DXOMARK rates as the highest it has given any phone launched in 2026.

Inside, the phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED Duo display uses tandem OLED technology, runs at 120Hz and is rated at up to 12,000 nits of peak brightness. A 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, and Motorola rates it for up to 77 hours of mixed use.

The Signature 27 ships with Android 17 and seven years of operating-system and security updates. It is also Motorola's first phone built to support GrapheneOS, the hardened open-source system developed with the GrapheneOS Foundation. An India launch is confirmed for later this month, although Motorola has not yet announced a date or local price.
