NHS Senior HR Manager Role Open in East Riding

By The Daily Byte ·01 Nov 2026 ·2 min read
Brough Surgery, one of The Ridings Medical Group sites in the East Riding of Yorkshire

The Ridings Medical Group has opened applications for a Senior HR Manager to lead workforce strategy and day-to-day HR operations across its East Riding of Yorkshire practice. The post is permanent and full-time, with flexible working available, and the official NHS Jobs advert puts the salary at £57,507 to £64,429 pro rata depending on experience.

What the role involves

The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, induction and training, manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries and grievances, and work with the Senior HR Advisor to keep policies in line with current guidance. The role also covers absence management, staff wellbeing initiatives, HR systems and support for GP registrars, students and trainees joining the practice.

Who should apply

The practice describes itself as a large training practice and a single primary care network, River and Wolds PCN, caring for more than 48,000 patients across five sites including Brough, Hessle, South Cave, Holme upon Spalding Moor and Bubwith. It employs more than 200 colleagues, so the post holder will be advising senior leaders as well as managing a small HR team directly.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted through the official NHS Jobs advert, reference A0361-26-11-26, before the closing date of 15 November 2026. Shortlisted candidates will face an interview and a presentation on 26 November 2026. The advert also states the role has been assessed as eligible for visa sponsorship, although sponsored applicants must still meet all other visa requirements. No fee is mentioned in the official advert, and applicants should apply only through NHS Jobs rather than through any agent.
