POCO X8s launches with 100W charging, 6,330mAh battery

POCO has launched the POCO X8s, a compact addition to its X Pro Series that pairs a smaller 6.35-inch display with a large battery and fast charging. The phone went on sale in the Philippines on 6 November and has now reached Malaysia, where early-bird pricing runs from 10 November.
The X8s is built around a 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED display using an M10 panel, with peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits and a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It measures 8.06mm thick, weighs 187g and uses a micro-curved aluminium frame with a glass back. The phone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance.
Camera, chip and battery
Photography is handled by a triple rear camera system. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical image stabilisation, joined by a 50-megapixel 2.5x telephoto camera, a first for the X Pro Series, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
Inside, the phone runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 platform with a 3D IceLoop cooling system. The 6,330mAh battery uses 16 percent silicon content and supports 100W HyperCharge, alongside 22.5W reverse wired charging for other devices.

In Malaysia the 8GB and 256GB model costs RM1,899, with an early-bird price of RM1,399, while the 12GB and 512GB model costs RM2,099, reduced to RM1,699. In the Philippines the same two models are priced at PHP 24,999 and PHP 27,999, with first-day sale prices of PHP 22,999 and PHP 25,999. The phone comes in black, blue and white.
