The Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department of the Government of the Punjab is hiring 27 specialists for a new Strategic Management Unit, with applications closing on 25 November 2026.

The posts are part of the department's development project to set up the unit, which will manage heritage conservation and tourism development work across the province. The appointments are on contract until 31 December 2027, with a possible one-year extension. Only candidates holding a Punjab domicile can apply.

The senior role is Team Lead, paid Rs950,000 a month, for a candidate with a master's degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 20 years. Other posts include Heritage and Conservation Expert, Senior Civil Engineer, Communication Expert, Environmental and Social Safeguard Expert, Finance and Planning Expert, and research, photography, drafting and field supervision roles. Salaries across the 27 posts run from Rs160,000 to Rs950,000 a month.

Two closing dates

Eight senior posts were advertised separately under reference IPL-11695, and applications for those close earlier, on 20 November. The full 27-post advertisement, reference IPL-11881, closes on 25 November.
