Seahawks beat Chiefs 20-3 on Sunday Night Football in the Chiefs first loss

The Seattle Seahawks handed the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season, winning 20-3 at Lumen Field on Sunday Night Football in Week 7 of the NFL regular season.
A night to forget for Mahomes
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 19 of his 33 pass attempts for 165 yards and was intercepted once, failing to throw a touchdown pass in the game. Veteran tight ends Noah Gray and Travis Kelce were the Chiefs leading receivers with 44 yards each, while kicker Harrison Butker scored the Chiefs' only points but also missed two of his three field goal attempts.
Defensively, veteran linebackers Nick Bolton and Drue Tranquill both tallied 12 combined tackles, and second-year defensive back Nohl Williams recorded an interception and 10 combined tackles. Kansas City pass rush failed to record a sack.
Walker's unhappy return
The game was also a homecoming to forget for running back Kenneth Walker III, who rushed for just 36 yards on 14 carries against the team he played his first four seasons for, winning a Super Bowl there last season. After the final whistle he walked straight to the locker room without shaking hands with his former teammates, having been held to a longest run of just seven yards.
Walker had topped 110 rushing yards in four of the Chiefs' first five games, but Seattle shut down the ground game entirely. Kansas City, now 5-1, will look ahead to its Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
