Second Man Charged Over Raheim Jackson Murder

A second man has been charged with the murder of Raheim Jackson in Leeds, West Yorkshire Police have said. Louis Jolaoso, 28, of Sowod Street in Leeds, was charged on Saturday 7 November and appeared before Leeds Magistrates' Court the same day.
Mr Jackson, 38, died after he was attacked by a group of men in Hedley Chase, in the New Wortley area of Leeds, on 24 October. Police said the attack happened outside a property in the street, and the force's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team has been leading the investigation since.
Michael Gyedu, 26, of Rathmell Road in Leeds, had already been charged with murder in connection with the same attack. He appeared in court on 2 November after being arrested in London. Both men are charged, not convicted, and are presumed innocent unless and until a court finds otherwise.
Detectives said a 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder on 4 November has been released on bail while enquiries continue. Detective Chief Inspector Dan Bates said the force continues to support Mr Jackson's family through what he called an unimaginably difficult time, and thanked the public for information received so far.
Police are still appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about the attack on 24 October to come forward. West Yorkshire Police said enquiries into Mr Jackson's death remain ongoing, and asked anyone who can help to contact the force on 101 or through its online live chat service.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the latest charge in a statement on 7 November.
