A health worker marks the finger of a two-year-old child after a polio vaccination in Fateh Jang, Attock, Pakistan, during the 2015 campaign.

The Sindh Health Department is hiring 45 vaccinators for its Expanded Programme on Immunization, with applications closing on 30 November 2026.

The posts are for the National Health Support Program and are purely on contract, for one year, on fixed pay. Vaccinators will work in the province's immunisation programme, giving routine childhood vaccines in their home districts. Applicants must hold a Sindh domicile and be residents of the district they apply for, and must attach a resident certificate with the application form.

The largest shares are eight posts in Shaheed Benazirabad and seven in Karachi Malir, followed by six in Umerkot and four each in Hyderabad, Kashmore and Sanghar. The remaining posts are in Jamshoro and Sujawal, with one or two each in Larkana, Khairpur, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin and Tharparkar.

Who can apply

Applicants need at least a Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognised board or university. Preference will be given to candidates holding a vaccination certificate from a recognised institute or board. The age limit is 18 to 28 years, with relaxation under the rules. The advertisement reserves 15 per cent of posts for women, 5 per cent for disabled candidates and 5 per cent for minorities.

How to apply

Applications are made through the Sindh Testing Service, which is running the recruitment. Candidates should get the online form and details from the service's website at sts.org.pk and submit it before 30 November 2026. Applicants must also pay a non-refundable screening test fee through the prescribed deposit slip at a designated bank branch; the fee amount is shown on the slip.
