Graduates have until Tuesday 10 November to apply for Sizewell C's graduate programmes, which offer a starting salary of £35,000 a year.

The Suffolk nuclear new-build project is recruiting for its two-year Nuclear Supply Chain Graduate programme, based at its London office with placements of six to twelve months. A separate Nuclear Business Graduate programme is also open, based at Orwell Logistics Park in Ipswich.

Supply chain graduates rotate through placements covering procurement, contract management, forecasting, supplier development and strategic sourcing, working on live projects supporting the UK's journey to net zero. Business graduates rotate through placements designed to build commercial skills across the project.

Who can apply

Applicants need a bachelor's or master's degree at 2:2 or higher. Supply chain roles suit degrees in supply chain and logistics, business management, economics, mathematics, finance or geography, while business roles suit finance, business, economics, politics, energy and sustainability or data analytics.

All appointees must meet security vetting criteria, which will ordinarily require having lived in the UK for at least three of the past five years, and must have the right to work in the UK.

Pay and benefits

Alongside the £35,000 starting salary, the package includes the potential for an annual bonus and a market-leading pension scheme, plus customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers and experience days.

Sizewell C says it expects significant interest and may close the adverts early if it receives a high number of applications, so candidates are urged to apply as soon as possible. When complete, the power station will provide dependable electricity to six million homes for at least 60 years.
