Spring into Deloitte opens 9 November for first-years

Deloitte opens applications on Monday 9 November for Spring into Deloitte, its paid two-day insight programme aimed at first-year university students. The firm's early careers timelines page lists 9 November as the opening date for the programme, alongside the February Career Shapers programme, which opens on the same day.
Spring into Deloitte is designed for students in the first year of a three-year degree, or the second year of a four-year degree, who want to explore careers in the firm. Two pathways are on offer: a finance stream focused on audit and tax, and an advisory stream covering consulting, strategy, risk and transactions advisory. The finance programme runs in Manchester on 30 and 31 March 2027, while the advisory programme runs in London on 1 and 2 April 2027.
The programme is paid, with reasonable expenses covered, and no previous experience or finance background is expected. Deloitte says interest is high and recommends applying as soon as possible, as applications close once places are filled. There is no fixed closing date published for the programme, so early applications have the best chance of securing a place.
Applicants should note Deloitte's rule of one early careers application per academic year, so candidates need to choose carefully between the finance and advisory pathways before submitting. The opening follows Deloitte's graduate recruitment wave this autumn, with consulting roles having opened on 5 October and closing dates set on each individual advert.
Students who miss the spring programme can also consider Deloitte's other early careers routes, including BrightStart apprenticeships, summer vacation schemes and industrial placements, details of which are published on the firm's early careers pages.
