Hyderabad and Jamshoro with the Indus River flowing between them; the Sindh Public Service Commission is based in Hyderabad.

The Sindh Public Service Commission has told candidates that applications for its Combined Competitive Examination 2026 close on Wednesday 11 November 2026, leaving four days to apply or correct an application.

The commission's Advertisement No. 06/2026, dated 23 October, is the notice now in force on the commission's own website. It covers the examination that fills Provincial Management Service and other BPS-17 officer posts in the Sindh government. Candidates apply online only through the commission's portal at spsc.gov.pk.

The advertisement also changed the examination rules. The upper age limit is now 33 years, counted on 11 November 2026, and candidates are allowed five attempts over three years. The screening test pass mark is 33 per cent, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.

Screening test date set

The commission has fixed Saturday 28 November 2026 for the CCE-2026 screening test, in a public notice dated 26 October. The notice gives the date only; the time, centres and admission slips are still to come.

Centre changes and corrections

Candidates who want to change their examination centre must write to the commission's secretary by the same closing date, 11 November. In a separate notice dated 27 October, the commission said centre-change applications received after that date would not be considered.

Candidates who have already applied do not need to apply again, and can correct mistakes or upload missing documents until 11 November.
