Sri Lanka Crush Pakistan by 8 Wickets to Reach Tri-Series Final

Sri Lanka have reached the final of the ODI tri-series in Lahore after beating Pakistan by eight wickets on Tuesday, bowling the hosts out for just 110 before chasing the target down with ease.
Madushanka runs through Pakistan
Left-arm seamer Dilshan Madushanka produced the standout performance of the match, taking a career-best 5 for 34 as Pakistan collapsed to 110 all out in 25.3 overs. No Pakistan batter was able to build a lasting innings, and captain Babar Azam top-scored with 29 in a batting display that never recovered from the early damage.
Pakistan's bowlers had almost nothing to defend, but Sri Lanka still had to complete the job, and they did so in composed fashion.
Mendis guides the chase
Kamindu Mendis finished unbeaten on 62 as Sri Lanka reached 114 for 2 in 18.1 overs, sealing victory with more than half the overs still unused. The win sends Sri Lanka into the final, where they will again face Pakistan.
England, meanwhile, are out of the competition after losing all three of their matches in the series.
Reaction online
The speed of Pakistan's collapse drew comment from some fans online, with a number questioning how the innings unravelled so quickly. No evidence has been offered to support any suggestion of wrongdoing, and the result stands as recorded.
For Sri Lanka, the performance was a statement of intent ahead of the final: a bowling attack firing in unison and a chase handled without panic.
