Unilever will open applications for its UK and Ireland apprenticeships on Monday 9 November 2026, with successful candidates starting in September 2027.

The consumer goods group, whose brands include Dove, Persil and Hellmann's, is recruiting across science, business, technology and finance, with most programmes offered as degree apprenticeships.

What roles are on offer

Programmes include laboratory science, food professional, data science, data analysis, digital marketing, technology management, cyber security, chartered management and professional accountancy. Most degree apprenticeships last between three and six years, while the accountancy and data analyst programmes run for around 18 months to two years.

Salaries published on Unilever's careers pages include £25,000 for laboratory science and £22,716 for chartered management. Apprentices combine paid work with study, typically spending one day a week at university while working towards a degree.

Where the roles are based

Roles are based at Unilever sites including Port Sunlight on the Wirral, Colworth Science Park in Bedfordshire, Kingston and London Blackfriars. Most offer hybrid working, typically requiring two or three days a week in the office.

How to apply

Applications close on a rolling basis, so Unilever advises candidates to apply as soon as possible because popular roles may close once filled. Applicants may apply for only one function, and only their first application will be considered.

Candidates need at least five GCSEs including English and maths, plus predicted A-level grades that vary by programme, such as BBB including chemistry for laboratory science. Applications are made through Unilever's UK and Ireland careers site.
