US cargo planes land in Israel as Trump briefed on Iran

Briefing at the White House
CENTCOM chief Admiral Brad Cooper briefed President Donald Trump in person on Thursday on options for renewed action against Iran and on the continuing blockade, with the defence secretary and Joint Chiefs chairman also present, according to Wall Street Journal reporting.
Airlift reported
Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported at least 10 US military cargo planes landed at Ovda and Nevatim air bases in southern Israel, with further planes sent to bases in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Some are reported to have departed from Fort Bliss, Texas.
No decision confirmed
An Israeli official was quoted as saying no decision had yet been made and that the US and Israel were preparing for whatever decision Trump makes. The Pentagon has also reportedly moved air defences, munitions and troops, and a further Patriot battery to Israel. The cargo carried by the planes has not been publicly confirmed.
