West Brom Beat Millwall 3-0 in Second-Half Blitz

West Bromwich Albion hit their stride after the break on Saturday, scoring three second-half goals to beat Millwall 3-0 in the Championship at The Hawthorns.
The first half ended goalless despite Albion creating the better chances, but the deadlock was broken six minutes after the restart. Isaac Price collected the ball and curled a superb effort into the net in the 51st minute, and from that moment the home side never looked back.
Jayson Molumby doubled the lead in the 78th minute, tapping home unmarked after Millwall goalkeeper Max Crocombe failed to hold Felix Horn Myhre's cross. Myhre then added the goal of the game a minute from time, steering home at the far post after substitute Kareem Tunde beat two Millwall players and found Price, who picked out the Norwegian.
The win extended Albion's unbeaten run to six matches, with 13 points taken from their last 18, and lifted James Morrison's side into the play-off places. Morrison praised his players for outrunning Millwall, saying they had created the most chances and deserved the return to winning ways.
For Millwall it was a third consecutive defeat on the road, and a second successive 3-0 loss after their midweek defeat at Birmingham City. The visitors had no answer once Price opened the scoring, and they rarely threatened an Albion defence that held firm throughout.
Albion had gone into the game looking to build on a solid run of form, and the second-half display showed why they are climbing the table. Price was at the heart of it, scoring the opener and setting up the third, while Molumby's tap-in rewarded a performance full of running from midfield.
