Bitcoin held below $76,000 through Sunday's trading while the wider cryptocurrency market fell harder, with several major altcoins losing more than a tenth of their value over the week. Bitcoin was trading near $75,882 on Sunday, 8 November, down nearly 2.7% over seven days.

The selling was heaviest away from Bitcoin. NEAR fell 15.21% over the week to about $3.71, Bitcoin Cash dropped 12.8% to nearly $246.26, Hyperliquid's HYPE token declined 11.96% to $77.35 and Stellar's XLM lost 10.62% to roughly $0.151. Ethena's ENA fell 18.6% and Ondo dropped around 12.9%.

The larger coins held up better. Ethereum traded near $2,239, down 1.35% over seven days, and BNB changed hands around $698 after losing 2.15%. XRP fell 7.23% to near $1.17, Solana dropped 6.04% to $89.63 and Chainlink declined 8.21% to $10.78. VoxTradePro's Sunday snapshot put Bitcoin near $75,723, about 2.2% lower on the week.

Only two major coins ended the week higher: TRON's TRX gained 3.09% to about $0.320 and Zcash rose 2.78% to almost $1,273.

Institutional flows added to the pressure. US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $1.28 billion in net withdrawals between 2 and 6 November, according to Farside Investors data, including $411.9 million on Friday alone. BlackRock's IBIT accounted for $403 million of Friday's redemptions, while Fidelity's FBTC took in $42.8 million. Ethereum funds saw $365.2 million of weekly outflows, taking combined withdrawals to roughly $1.65 billion.

Bitcoin had briefly climbed above $81,000 on Wednesday after the US midterm elections, before falling below $75,000 on Friday. Analyst Michaël van de Poppe identified $76,000 as the level Bitcoin must clear for renewed upward momentum. US October consumer price data is due on Tuesday, 10 November. Prices move quickly; figures are as reported on Sunday.
