Telford firm Aviramp creates 50 jobs in record hiring

What the new roles involve
Aviation specialist Aviramp has launched its largest single recruitment drive, creating 50 new jobs ahead of a move to bigger premises. The Telford-based firm, founded in 2011, makes step-free aircraft boarding ramps and describes itself as a global leader in the field.
The 50 roles cover international installation and assembly work. Some will be based in Aviramp's UK factory, completing, assembling and preparing ramps for shipping, while others will involve travelling overseas to install ramps at airports around the world. The company says the expansion follows a successful 2025, in which it clinched major international deals, and continued growth in 2026 that has led it to prepare a move from its Stafford Park headquarters to larger premises. Commercial director Wayne Lawrence said the expansion and the creation of 50 new roles marked another exciting step forward for the Telford-based firm, adding that the company needs to recruit to reach its next stage.
How to apply
All of the newly created jobs are listed on the company's own careers page, where applicants can find the current vacancies. The latest expansion comes after the number of Aviramp ramps in operation worldwide rose to more than 950 by the end of 2025, with new sales in America, Asia, Europe and Australasia. The recruitment drive was announced on 28 October 2026 and the source page was updated on 30 October 2026; no application deadline is stated in the source, so applicants should check the official careers page for current availability rather than assuming any closing date.
