The Bank of Punjab is hiring a Regional Audit Head for its Operational Audit Division in Faisalabad, with applications closing on 11 November 2026.

There is one post, graded Band-5 to Band-3, in the bank's Internal Audit Group. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Operational Audit with the annual planning of the operational audit plan, and will carry out audit engagement planning and sampling for each assignment, using the bank's reporting tools to gather the relevant reports.

The role also covers allocating resources according to the risk profile of each audited unit, overseeing audit teams, reviewing audit reports, rating models, management letters and working papers, and preparing monthly and quarterly reporting for line management. The post holder will coach audit teams on methodology, review policies and instructions for control effectiveness, and keep audit checklists and the audit manual up to date.

Applicants need a Bachelors, MBA, M.Com. or MSc in Accounting or Finance, or a CA, ACCA or CBA qualification from a university or institute recognised by the Higher Education Commission. Professional certifications such as CIA, CICA or CISA are preferred. The bank asks for nine to twelve years of experience, including at least three years in the internal audit group of a commercial bank. The maximum age is 55 years as of 11 November 2026.

The bank says the post carries market-based competitive remuneration, and no salary figure is published. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview, and no travel allowance is payable. Women, minorities, differently-abled people and transgender candidates are encouraged to apply.
