CCC Sales Rise 11% as Margins Widen in Q3

Polish footwear and fashion group CCC, which is rebranding as Modivo Platform, has reported an 11% rise in third-quarter revenue, with profit margins widening sharply ahead of its full results later this month.
Revenue for the three months to the end of October rose 11% on a year earlier to 3.199 billion Polish zloty, while like-for-like sales increased 9%. Gross margin widened by 5.5 percentage points to 51.4%, reflecting stronger pricing and a better sales mix.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 15% to 372 million zloty. On an adjusted basis, stripping out one-off items, EBITDA reached 450 million zloty, an increase of 48% on the same period a year earlier.
The picture was less strong further down the income statement. Consolidated operating profit fell 14% to 120 million zloty, partly because foreign exchange movements weighed on other operating income and costs.
The group's core CCC store chain led the growth, with sales up 16%, including 4% like-for-like growth. By contrast, sales at the Modivo online platform fell 6% as the group continued to reshape its digital business.
The figures are preliminary, released ahead of a results conference held on Friday 6 November. The complete consolidated report for the third quarter of the 2026/27 financial year is scheduled for Friday 27 November, when investors will get a fuller picture of operating profit, cash generation and whether the margin gains can be sustained.
CCC is one of central Europe's largest footwear retailers, operating the CCC, Modivo and HalfPrice brands across stores and online.
