The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority has opened 10 non-academic posts at its Daanish Schools in Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa, with applications closing on 14 November 2026. The vacancies, advertised in The Nation on 29 October 2026, are on a contract basis and cover nursing, cooking and mess work at the boys' and girls' campuses.

Two posts are for female nurses (DS-14), one at the girls' campus in Dera Ghazi Khan and one at the girls' campus in Taunsa. Applicants need Intermediate (Pre-Medical) with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, registration with the Punjab Medical Faculty Board or the Pakistan Nursing Council, and three to four years of related experience. The age limit is 55 years.

Two posts are for cook (mess) (DS-07), one at the boys' campus in Dera Ghazi Khan and one at the girls' campus in Taunsa, both for men. Five years of relevant experience is preferred, complete medical fitness tests are mandatory, and the age limit is 50 years. One post is for a male tandoorchi (DS-04) at the Taunsa girls' campus, with two years of hospitality experience preferred and an age limit of 40 years.

The remaining five posts are for mess waiter or dishwasher (DS-01): four at the girls' campus in Dera Ghazi Khan and one at the girls' campus in Taunsa. Two years of experience is preferred and the age limit is 35 years. Applications, with a CV, two photographs and certified copies of educational and experience certificates, domicile and CNIC, must reach the principals by 14 November 2026, or can be handed in at the school office during working hours.
