Fair Work Agency Hiring: Four Roles Open in Nottingham

The Fair Work Agency is recruiting for four roles, the agency announced on 8 November, as it continues to build the team behind its crackdown on exploitative employers. Applications for all four posts are made through Civil Service Jobs.
The roles on offer are Contact Assistant, Digital Investigations Officer, KIM Manager, and Senior KIM Lead and Deputy Data Protection Officer. The first deadline falls fast: applications for the Contact Assistant post close at 11.55pm on Monday 9 November. Digital Investigations Officer applications close at 11.55pm on Sunday 15 November, while the KIM Manager and Senior KIM Lead posts both close at 11.55pm on Sunday 29 November.
The agency, which launched in April 2026, is an executive agency sponsored by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade. Its job is to protect workers, support fair competition and make sure employers comply with the law. It is based at Loxley House on Station Street in Nottingham.
The recruitment drive comes as the agency steps up enforcement. On 4 November it reported recovering £59,000 for five IT agency workers, and on 2 November it said hundreds of employers had been handed penalties for illegally underpaying workers. The agency says it is expanding further with new powers under the Employment Rights Act 2025.
Anyone interested should check the full advert and deadline for their chosen role on Civil Service Jobs before applying, as late applications are not accepted. The agency's LinkedIn page links to the vacancies, and its GOV.UK page sets out what the agency does.
