The Gwadar Port Authority is hiring 70 regular staff across 39 posts, from BPS-01 to BPS-16, all reserved for candidates holding a Balochistan local or domicile certificate. Drivers have the most seats, with eight posts in BPS-04 for holders of a valid HTV driving licence with five years of experience. Seamen follow with six posts in BPS-09, while Naib Qasid and Lower Division Clerk have five each and Sub Engineer (Civil) has four. Senior posts in BPS-16 include Sub Engineer (Civil), Assistant Engineers in mechanical and electrical trades, a Law Officer, a Hydrographic Surveyor Grade-I, a Security Officer and a Computer Operator.

Applications are accepted only online through the National Job Portal, within 15 days of the advertisement's publication, with a separate application for each post. Direct applications by hand, post or email will not be entertained. The authority observes a 10 per cent quota for women, 5 per cent for minorities and 2 per cent for persons with disabilities, and allows five years of general age relaxation plus five more years for candidates from Balochistan.

All recruitment is by walk-in interview, with no entry or written test. A practical skill test applies only to steno typists, drivers and mobile crane operators. Only shortlisted candidates will be called, no travel allowance is paid, and the authority reserves the right to cancel the process or change the number of posts at any stage.
