KP Paid Internships for BS Graduates at Rs25,000 a Month

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to launch a paid internship programme for BS students and graduates, offering a monthly stipend of Rs25,000 for three months.
Under the programme, selected interns will receive hands-on training in government departments, public universities and other relevant institutions, in a bid to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical work and improve young graduates' employment prospects. The stipend is fully funded by the provincial government.
How it will work
A circular issued to all administrative secretaries has directed government departments to make internship opportunities available under the initiative. Departments have been told to allocate positions, nominate focal persons to coordinate the programme and submit details of the opportunities within 15 days.
A centralised database will be set up to manage the programme and monitor placements.
Who can apply
The programme is aimed at BS students and graduates across the province. According to the plan presented at a briefing chaired by Provincial Minister for Education Meena Khan Afridi, only students with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 will be eligible, and students enrolled in universities and degree colleges in all districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be able to apply.
No application portal has been launched yet. The education department has indicated that registrations will begin in the coming weeks, once partnerships with host organisations are finalised.
