KPPSC Civil Judge result: only 2 of 105 posts filled

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has finalised recruitment for 105 Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate / Illaqa Qazi posts in BPS-18, recommending just two candidates for appointment to the Peshawar High Court. The result, displayed on the commission's website at 4:00 pm on 4 November 2026, brings a recruitment drive advertised under Advertisement No. 03/2026 to a close with 103 posts left unfilled.
The two candidates recommended are Syed Zahid Hussain, from Mardan in Zone 2, and Saba Rasool, from South Waziristan. The commission stressed that the recommendations are tentative and do not confer any right to appointment, warning that any discrepancy revealed at any stage could lead to cancellation of the recommendation.
The unfilled posts break down as 70 general-quota seats, 11 reserved for women, 17 for minorities and five for disabled candidates. Candidates sat the written examination between 21 and 29 April 2026, and the commission published the written result on 30 September before holding interviews for the shortlisted candidates.
The commission has not said what will happen to the 103 empty posts, and no fresh advertisement for Civil Judge posts has been announced. Candidates and future applicants should watch the commission's website for any new notice: the full result is published on kppsc.gov.pk.
