The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission will hold computer-based ability tests in Peshawar from 17 to 28 November 2026 for 188 BPS-16 and BPS-17 posts, with 11,487 candidates due to sit the papers. The revised 18th schedule of 2026, published by the commission on 27 October, covers 18 posts across provincial departments.

Each test is a 45-question multiple-choice paper. Morning sessions start with reporting at 9:00 am and the paper running from 10:00 to 10:45 am, while evening sessions report at 2:00 pm with the paper from 3:00 to 3:45 pm. Some of the larger papers run in two or three sessions on the same day.

Testing opens on Tuesday 17 November with the MIS Manager post in the Agriculture Department in the morning and Junior Architect in the Communication and Works Department in the evening. The largest paper is for 91 Assistant Public Prosecutor posts, with 3,189 candidates, on Saturday 28 November. Other large papers include Assistant Director (IT), with 1,547 candidates on 27 November, and Inspector Weights and Measures, with 1,095 candidates on 26 November.

Call letters will be uploaded to the commission's website, and candidates must bring a printed call letter and their original CNIC to the test centre, as no candidate will be allowed in without both. Mobile phones, electronic gadgets and helping material are strictly banned and can lead to disqualification. Candidates can check the full schedule on kppsc.gov.pk.
