KPPSC revises PMS exam schedule for December-January

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has published a revised schedule for the written examinations for Provincial Management Service (PMS) BPS-17 officer posts. According to the revised timetable, the examinations will run from 30 December 2026 to 16 January 2027. The commission's website, updated on 29 October, also lists a notification on centre and optional-paper changes for the PMS examination, alongside the written-examination schedule for Advertisement No. 01/2026.
Compulsory papers first, then optional subjects
Compulsory papers are scheduled from 30 December to 5 January, starting with English Essay on 30 December, followed by English Precis and Composition, General Knowledge, Pakistan Affairs and Islamic Studies. Optional-subject examinations begin on 6 January. Morning papers run from 9am to noon and afternoon papers from 2pm to 5pm, according to the published timetable. Candidates are advised to check the full subject-wise schedule on the commission's official website before travelling.
What candidates should do now
The revised schedule covers the written examination phase of recruitment for BPS-17 officers in the Provincial Management Service. Applicants who need to change their examination centre or optional subjects should use the commission's online portal and follow the official notification, rather than relying on social-media posts about dates. Only notices published on kppsc.gov.pk should be treated as final.
