Lloyds apprenticeships open 3 November for September 2027

Lloyds Banking Group will open applications for its September 2027 apprenticeships on 3 November 2026, its official talent site confirms. The page states plainly: "Apprenticeship opportunities opening for applications 3rd November." Anyone weighing up an earn-while-you-learn route into banking therefore has a fixed date to work towards, rather than a vague autumn window.
The group already employs more than a thousand apprentices, and the routes on offer span finance, data and artificial intelligence, software, risk, audit and customer-facing roles. One example is the Consumer Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship, a three-year, degree-level programme starting in September 2027. It pays £27,400 plus benefits in Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Edinburgh, and £32,000 plus benefits in London, and leads to a professional qualification from the Chartered Banker Institute. Applicants for that route must be at least 18 on 1 September 2027 and hold a minimum of 96 UCAS points.
What to check before you apply
Entry rules, locations and salaries differ by programme, so the individual programme page is the final word. The Data Apprenticeship, for instance, begins at Level 4 and can progress to a Level 6 degree apprenticeship, pays £27,400, and is based in Leeds and Edinburgh. Lloyds also states it cannot accept applications for visa sponsorship for its apprenticeship roles, so applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK for the full programme. Applications are made through the Lloyds Banking Group Talent apprenticeships pages, where each programme lists its own requirements and opening date.
