Thousands of federal posts reserved for Balochistan-domicile candidates are open on Pakistan's National Jobs Portal, with a count of the portal's Balochistan section on 31 October putting the total at 4,599 vacancies across 414 listings from 55 federal departments. The portal's own homepage, checked for this report, shows more than 4,636 active jobs overall and lists Balochistan vacancies from employers including the Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) and the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council.

The largest employers in the Balochistan count are QESCO, with 2,798 posts, and Pakistan Railways, with 823 posts. QESCO listings on the portal carry a closing date of 14 November 2026, including 122 Sweeper, 81 Mali and 136 Naib Qasid vacancies, while Pakistan Railways listings close on 11 November. Other listings in the count include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with 38 posts closing on 8 November, and the Auditor-General's department, with 36 posts closing on 9 November.

How to apply, and what to check

Applications are made only through the official National Jobs Portal at njp.gov.pk, and candidates need a Balochistan domicile or local certificate for these quota posts. Most of the listings were posted between 27 and 30 October, and every closing date in the count falls in November, with the earliest falling from 2 November, so applicants should check each individual listing's own last date, eligibility, age rule and place of posting before applying.

Do not pay anyone to apply or to secure selection, and do not apply through an unverified agent: the portal is the official route, and physical applications sent directly to a department are not accepted for these listings. If a listing has closed, its vacancy is gone; aggregator copies of adverts should not be relied on over the portal's own listing page.
