The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is hiring ten short-term specialists under the Prime Minister's Youth Skills Development Program, with applications open now through the government's National Employment Exchange Tool (NEXT) portal. The openings cover resource persons in Lahore and Islamabad and media experts at the commission's Islamabad headquarters.

Six resource person posts are available in Lahore and Islamabad on short-term contracts. They will deliver training sessions and workshops, prepare learning material, guide trainers on teaching and assessment methods, and support monitoring visits to training centres. Applications for these posts close on 10 November 2026, according to the live listing on the NEXT portal.

Four short-term expert posts are based in Islamabad and close on 14 November 2026. Two are for media coordination and content writing, needing 16 years of education in English, social sciences, economics, commerce or mass communication, preferably with an MS or MPhil, plus at least five years of relevant experience and a maximum age of 45. The other two cover front desk and media management, needing 16 years of education in English or mass communication, at least five years of experience, and an age between 25 and 45.

Applications are online only through jobs.gov.pk, and hand-delivered or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test or interview, and no travel or daily allowance will be paid. Candidates should check the closing date for their own post on the NEXT portal before applying, as dates vary by position.
