NHS Band 6 mental health jobs in Coventry

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is holding two recruitment events next week for registered professionals who want a Band 6 role in its Mental Health Urgent Care Service. The first takes place on Monday 13 November at Wayside House in Coventry, and the second on Wednesday 15 November at St Michael's Hospital in Warwick, with morning or afternoon sessions at each.
The roles sit in the trust's Mental Health Access Hub and Home Treatment Teams, working across Nuneaton, Coventry and Warwickshire. They involve triaging people in mental health crisis, carrying out initial assessments and providing treatment at home, so that people get the right support at the right time.
The events are open to mental health nurses, adult nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and paramedics. Candidates will need experience working as a Band 5 or Band 6 registered practitioner in a mental health setting, or equivalent experience of mental health in other settings. Those who attend can meet the teams behind the services and will be offered an interview on the day, with the chance to walk away with a job offer subject to pre-employment checks.
As the roles are community-based, applicants will need to be a driver with access to their own vehicle to travel around the local area, with mileage reimbursed. The trust says it offers NHS benefits, generous annual leave and an extensive wellbeing package, alongside training and development opportunities.
Live Band 6 vacancies at the trust are also advertised on NHS Jobs, including a Band 6 care coordinator post in the early intervention in psychosis team closing on 16 November. Full details of the recruitment events and how to register are on the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust website.
