Pakistan vs England ODI Lahore 25 October 2026: Pink Jerseys for Breast Cancer Awareness

Fourth match of the tri-series
Pakistan took on England in match four of the Pakistan ODI Tri-Series 2026 on Sunday 25 October at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Pakistan entered the match unbeaten in the series, having defeated England by 87 runs and Sri Lanka by 37 runs. England, by contrast, had lost both of their matches in the tri-series, including a defeat against Sri Lanka in which Sri Lanka chased a target of 430 runs.
The hosts were looking to maintain their winning momentum and strengthen their chances of reaching the final. England were aiming to put those setbacks behind them and register their first win of the tournament. The match was scheduled to start at 1.30pm local time, with a batting-friendly pitch and mostly clear weather noted in the preview.
Why pink jerseys
For the 25 October game, Pakistan wore pink jerseys to raise awareness of breast cancer. October is recognised internationally as breast cancer awareness month, and the stadium was also to be turned pink for the occasion, according to reports ahead of the match.
English players, match officials and on-air commentary personnel were also to be given ribbons matching the home team's attire. Commentators were expected to spread awareness messages during the game, and the Pakistan Cricket Board had planned special content on the subject, with Pakistan players sharing their views to raise awareness. The tri-series continues with further matches in Lahore before the final on 31 October.
