The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, has announced 21 regular posts under the 6% Balochistan quota, in an advertisement published in the Daily Express on 2 November 2026 (advertisement F.7-6/2026/(Rect)/Admin-IH, PID(I)4062/26). Applications are invited online through the National Job Portal and close on 17 November 2026.

The posts run from BS-01 to BS-15 and cover support, technical and medical roles at the federal tertiary care hospital. They include Naib Qasid, Mali and Sanitary Worker posts at BS-01, a Ward Boy post at BS-02, and further posts across the BS-01 to BS-15 range named in the advertisement. The advertisement sets the age limit at 18 to 25 years, with the general age relaxation and the additional Balochistan relaxation stated in the notice.

Only candidates holding a Balochistan domicile are eligible, and applications are accepted online only through the National Job Portal at njp.gov.pk — no hard-copy applications will be entertained. Candidates should open the PIMS advertisement on the portal, check the post-wise qualification and domicile requirements, and submit within 15 days of the advertisement's publication, by 17 November 2026.

PIMS is the major federal tertiary care hospital in Islamabad under the Ministry of National Health Services, and the recruitment follows the Establishment Division's criteria for the Balochistan quota exercise set out in its office memorandum of 22 October 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed through walk-in interviews.
