Siemens Energy Results Test After Friday Rebound

Siemens Energy shares climbed 3.8 per cent on Friday, riding a broader recovery in technology shares after an AI-driven sell-off swept up several German names. The rebound turns attention to the company's results for the fourth quarter and the 2026 financial year, due at 07:00 CET on Tuesday 11 November.
Alongside the figures, Siemens Energy plans to present updated medium-term targets through 2030, giving investors a second test on the same day. Analysts polled by Dow Jones expect group revenue of 43,994 million euros, according to the report published on 8 November.
Brokers are positive ahead of the release, but for different reasons. JPMorgan analyst Phil Buller pointed on Friday to an investor survey showing low expectations before the report and the capital markets day. The bank reiterated its Overweight rating and a price target of 245 euros.
UBS struck a different note. Analyst Christopher Leonard argued on Wednesday that the recent share price losses were unjustified and listed Siemens Energy among his preferred European energy technology names. UBS maintained its Buy rating with a target of 210 euros.
Both houses agree the figures must now do the work. A low bar helps only if the company clears it, and the medium-term targets must look grounded in a traceable path for the business rather than resting on favourable assumptions. The shares were also caught in the earlier AI sell-off, so sentiment towards that theme remains a factor, but a lasting recovery needs the operating numbers to support it.
