StandardAero Raises Guidance and $350m Buyback Plan

StandardAero has raised its full-year guidance and announced a $350 million accelerated share repurchase after third-quarter profit jumped by more than a third. The aircraft engine maintenance group reported the results on 5 November.
Revenue rose 4.0% year on year to $1,557.4 million, while net income climbed 36.2% to $92.8 million. Adjusted earnings per share increased 30% to $0.39, and adjusted EBITDA grew 15.0% to $224.9 million, with the margin expanding by 130 basis points to 14.4%.
Chief executive Paul McElhinney said record 24% adjusted EBITDA growth in the engine services business drove the quarter and supported the higher outlook. The company now expects full-year 2026 revenue of $6.525 billion to $6.645 billion, an increase of $148 million at the midpoint, with adjusted EBITDA of $905 million to $920 million and adjusted earnings per share of $1.57 to $1.62.
The board approved a $560 million increase to the share repurchase programme, taking total authorisation to $1.0 billion, with $850 million remaining available. StandardAero intends to enter a $350 million accelerated share repurchase agreement with Morgan Stanley under the expanded authorisation.
Management expects to end the year with net leverage below 2.7 times, after finishing the third quarter at 2.66 times net debt to adjusted EBITDA, down from 2.9 times a year earlier. Adjusted free cash flow guidance was maintained at $270 million to $300 million.
